I made doll perfume bottles with different sized beads glued together. These would be fun with a small ribbon tied around the lid. The sky is the limit depending on what beads you find. I used E6000 glue for a super hold. Directions and my inspiration come from here.

DIY Doll Toothbrush
For a doll toothbrush I cut a Popsicle stick to a good length. I cut a small square of craft foam and glued to the trimmed edge of the Popsicle stick. I glued a Velcro piece of the same size as the foam to the foam. It gives it some bristles. Easy Peasy.

DIY Doll Grill & Charcoal
I made a doll grill with a recycled metal bowl (could also use a plastic bowl). I glued wood skewers with hot glue to make the cooking rack on top. For the legs I cut out two shapes from wood (see above photo) They fit together with the notches. You can also make from cardboard. This is a fun simple grill.
For the charcoal I cut floral foam into small rectangles and rounded the edges with a knife. I spray painted them black with a few spritz of white paint.

DIY Doll Tennis Racket
I made a doll tennis racket by cutting out the net shape from plastic canvas. I also cut a white strip 2 squares wide from a full sheet . I just hand sewed the white frame to the blue netting with yarn/crochet thread. I added a loop at the end to attach to the doll. I will wrap electrical tape around the handle.

Birthday Spider Poem/Song
Tune: Itsy Bitsy Spider Climbed Up the Waterspout
Lyrics:
The itsy bitsy spider climbed up the birthday cake.
Itsy bitsy quickly learned he'd made a big mistake.
He climbed up the candle before the cake was cut.
The itsy bitsy spider, he burned his little butt! pzzz!
Itsy bitsy quickly learned he'd made a big mistake.
He climbed up the candle before the cake was cut.
The itsy bitsy spider, he burned his little butt! pzzz!

I made a friendship bracelet for my daughter and one for her 18" doll with directions from here. They even have free printable disks to make it super easy.

DIY Doll Slushie
I made doll slushies by breaking clear plastic beads and gluing them around the edges of the $1 store cup with hot glue. I crumbled up some saran wrap and filled the center and glued into place. I glued more broken plastic beads on top. A straw could be added. I used what I had on hand. Super easy and fun. My daughter and her friends love these.

DIY Doll Lantern
I made this great lantern with inspiration from here. Super easy with a battery tea light, medicine cup cut in the bottom, and prescription pill bottle lid. I drilled holes in the cap to insert wire for hanger. Love this.
Doll Hula Skirt
I made my daughters 18" doll a hula skirt by straightening plastic Easter grass in front of a heater. I heated them for only a few seconds just warm enough to iron out some of the creases. I then sewed the plastic Easter grass to a length of ribbon just longer than the dolls waist. I added Velcro to the ends and trimmed the grass. Easy Peasy.

Doll Cheerleader Skirt & Pom Poms
I made a cheerleader outfit for my daughters 18" doll. The pom poms I used with yarn from directions from here, only I used a couple of my fingers instead of a fork for more length. I attached elastic string to them by tying it onto the poms.
The skirt was really easy. I measured the dolls waist and times by 2. I cut 2" squares and sewed together in a long chain every other color. I sewed a simple straight line pleat in every other color (black in this skirt). Finished, no elastic waist or anything.

Doll Bunk Bed
I made this doll bunk bed from free plans from Ana White here. It was an easy building project with 1x2's, pocket holes, and screws. We didn't have patience for paint to dry so it remains unfinished.

Doll Cookie Set
My daughter enjoyed cutting out cookies from craft foam and adding chocolate chips with permanent marker. For the gingerbread cookies I punched a small cookie cutter into craft foam where it made enough of an indentation for my daughter to see to cut out.
I made the cookie sheet from easy to cut disposable tin cookie sheet. I cut it out and folded over the 1/8" edges using a ruler/straight edge. I then pounded flat the edge with a hammer to prevent cuts/injury.
For the over mit I used some fabric scraps from a quilt I had made. It had batting sandwiched between two fabric layers. I cut a simple rectangle shape, curved one end around the fingers, and sewed aroud the three edges. I added bias tape to the opening and flipped the seam to the inside.

Doll Pencil's, Pencil Box, & Paint Brush
My children and I made doll pencil's out of small dowels just thicker than a wooden skewer. I cut the dowel in 3" lengths. The kids ran one end of each through the pencil sharpener. We glued a pink Perler bead on the flat sanded end of each pencil to look like an eraser. We then cut a small rectangle piece of tin foil to wrap and glue around the seam of the bead and dowel. My kids used markers to color their pencil's yellow and black for lead.
The doll pencil box was made from a cassette tape case. I cut off the little plastic prongs that go through the cassette reels. My kids added small stickers to the box.
The paint brush was made from a dowel piece just like the pencil's, about 3" long. For the brush bristles I cut little pieces of fishing line and hot glued them to the dowel end. I then trimmed the bristles flush. I glued a strip of tin foil over the seam of the dowel and bristles.
The colored pencil's were made with 3" long dowel pieces. My kids sharpened one end in a pencil sharpener and colored with markers. Easy Peasy.

Doll Backpack
My daughter picked a new backback for back to school. With it came a small pack attached for extra little stuff. We removed the small pack with the attached velcro. We cut off the velcro pieces. I then sewed matching yellow 3/4" grossgrain ribbon to the back for straps. You'll have to measure for lenght and placement with your doll. It fits perfect and was super easy.

Doll Fire
My daughter and I made a fire for her American Girl Doll. We used a recycled CD, glued rocks and sticks to CD using hot glue. We cut fire from craft foam and glued it to the sticks. We most definetely used real mini marshmallows to pretend roast. Great fun.
