Fairy Garden
I made these really fun fairy garden's with my kids with these fairy houses we had previously made. Our inspiration came from here Pink and Green Mama.
Play Bubble Tent
I found this fabulous idea here at Play at Home Mom
I bought 2 rolls of paint plastic for $1 each at Walmart. I used packing tape to tape together all edges leaving two openings, one to attatch to a simple home fan and the other for the door.
My kiddos had a great time.
********Please, use only under close adult supervision due to sufication hazard.***********
I'm thinking I will make one out of light weight fabric (or sheets) and just sew the edges together.

Whilrling Old West Toy
I saw something like this at a old west museum. It is a toy. I made it from a paint stick cut in half. Cut off the two rough corners to look like the photo. Drill a small hole and tie a 2 ft piece of string through it. Hold onto the end of the string and swing it around. It makes a fun whizzing sound as it spins.

Doll Summer Dress/Pinafore Tutorial
I came across my mother sewn, old Cabbage Patch Doll but all it had was an infant hospital shirt. What happened to all those adorable clothes that my mom made to go with her? I remembered a super easy summer dress my mom made. I searched out online for a pattern or tutorial, why recreate the work that someone else has already gone to? I spent too much time searching and came up empty handed. I pulled out my newsprint roll and got to work creating my own pattern (you may use for personal use only). You may also want to make one or two from paper making sure it fits your doll before cutting your fabric.
Cut 2 of the same fabric or make one lining. With right sides together, sew the pieces together leaving 1 1/2 - 2 inch opening to turn. Iron, close off the opening and sew a top stitch 1/4 inch around the entire dress.
**there is a cutting line to use if using scraps. Be sure to leave seams allowance to attach to look like the full pattern.
This dress Needs Bloomer or Shorts. I made a simple shorts pattern. Turn the top under and sew for elastic (must leave opening to string elastic through). Depending on the size, you can add elastic to the hem of the legs or just hem them for shorts.
Now my daughter can Enjoy. Hope you enjoy and make a few.

Floor Cushion
Living with Punks has directions here. I love that these are INexpensive to make. I've never cared for vinyl bean bag chairs so when I found this pattern I had to make some. One I filled with foam chunks and one I filled with bean bag beans. They have a different feel but my kids love both.
**I made my own piping by cutting 1 1/2" stips (about 3) and attach them into one long piece. Fold the fabric around the rope cording and stitch tight to the rope with a zipper foot. This way you can make it to match or contrast.

Ok, so I had to make these NOW from Choose to Thrive. I ran to my $1 store and got some footless tights and my Walmart had ladies knee highs for $1.50. Adorable. My daughter did have one pair of white tights that she put a huge hole in for her next pair. So easy and adorable.
**I was able to sew the toe on my sewing machine without stretching/bunching but I also darned them.
