Countdown to Kisses candy board

I made this adorable countdown to Valentines Day by drilling holes to hold the Hershey Kisses. Love this idea here from Infarrantly Creative. On the back side I made this "Kiss Me, I'm Irish" for St. Pactricks Day.

Growth Charts

To make these growth charts that I can fold and keep forever I purchased 12 " of a heavy fabric. I used permanent marker to draw the vines. I attached fabric flowers and leaves. I sewed bias tape around the edge. Last I sewed a (plastic or cloth) measuring tape to one edge. Kids love to measure their growth. These have been fun. To write the date by the heigth I use a fine permanent marker.

melting crayon art

This is sooo amazing from Irrestible Ideas for Play Based Learning found at Ucreatekids. I used my round hot plate on low with an old $1 store cookie sheet on top. The kids had a great time melting the crayons while coloring and there were NO burns.

Cork Board Cabinet

I needed a way to keep all my ugly notes OFF the fridge. I hot glued a large piece of cork to the inside of my couboard door. Great way to hide all those notes.
**I checked a small section to make sure that the hot glue could be removed when I wanted in the future. It did on my low heat gun.

Peek-A-Boo Bag

The Peek-A-Boo Bag is great for small children and Older adults.

This project takes:
1 piece of felt (or 2 halfs)
1 strong piece of plastic the same size as one half
small items to hide inside
bag of plastic balls used in floral decor or rice *rice will leave a powder on all your objects.

1- Cut a window in one piece of felt.
2- Attach/sew a list of items to the back of the other piece of felt if desired.
3- Sew the plastic to the felt with the window by sewing around the window.
4- Sew 3 sides of the felt pieces together with the plastic sandwiched between them. I used a zig zag stitch.
5- Fill your bag with small items and rice/plastic balls.
6- Stitch the top closed. Again I used a zig zag stitch
