AG Doll Camera

Look what I found at the Dollar Store.  It was in the kid toys section packaged as a prank water squirting toy.  The button even pushes down.  Can't beat this deal.

Doll House Furniture

This simple idea I came up with on my own.

To make doll furniture I cut chunks of 2x4 with a circular saw to make dressers, beds, couches, cabinets, refrigerator, stove (block), & grandfather clock. Just paint and use fine permanent marker for details.

For the headboard I used a piece of paneling with a jigsaw & nailed it to the bed.

To make the couch I used foam sheets to cover the block & wrap around back. I used a staple gun to attach.

Doll House

Made these easy doll houses with directions from here.

I used scrap paneling because I had it around, could also use cardboard, or foam core board. Comes apart easily for storage & travel. I came up with the furniture made out of cut pieces of 2x4's. The second house I made shorter (8" high) because of the wood scraps I had, I really like it's size better. Glued scrapbook paper for wall paper with spray glue.

DIY Doll Hair Detangling Spray

To make your own doll hair detangling spray it takes a small amount of fabric softener mixed with water and put into a spray bottle.  It works great.  The recipe is found here at Cookie & Claire.  It is important to use a metal brush.  I purchased mine at the Dollar Store in the pet section.

Gingerbread/Foamcore Houses

I used gingerbread templates from bobvilla.com to create my fun houses out of foam core board. We colored them. fun project to make with the kids. We made mini ones for our ornaments on our tree. To make real gingerbread houses there is a great recipe here at Housefull of Homeade.
Here are Bob Villa's A-frame house templates.

Cub Scout Nutcracker Ornament

My son loves nutcrackers and when I found these little guys at the Dollar Store in packs of two I couldn't resist.

When I got home I immediately pulled off the white hair and beard along with the glue.  It came off easily.  I then decided to take a before photo.
Steps to make a cub scout
* Remove hair and beard
*Remove painted on mustache (I scratched it off with a screwdriver)
* touch up cheeks with craft paint
*Paint pants green *Paint shirt solid blue
*Paint patches, beads, hat logo, scarf
I am super excited to give these to my cub scouts for Christmas.  I hope they enjoy them as much as my son (and daughter)

DIY Doll Sled

Making a doll sled is super easy.  Take either a plastic plate or Frisbee, drill a total of four holes, two holes per side for rope/string to thread through for handles.  Can also drill a hole on the front and add a rope for a tow rope.  Fun for winter sledding.
